Nissan is rolling out new production technologies globally to make our factories more efficient and sustainable, and to help us build the next generation of electrified, intelligent and connected cars.
Future automobiles will add new complexity to design and construction, requiring major advancements in production engineering.
Following an initial investment of about 33 billion yen ($300 million) at the company's Tochigi Plant in Japan, with work to finish in 2020, the technologies will be rolled out across factories globally.
