With hundreds of impact testing and scrutiny of over 100 data points, the Nissan Ariya is put to the test at 1/1000th-of-a-second to help ensure it possesses a high level of safety in the event of a collision. Serving as the basis for developing safer automobiles, Nissan’s Safety Shield concept includes active and passive safety measures to support the safety of vehicle occupants in a variety of scenarios. The overall goal is to prevent collisions where possible and, in case of unavoidable collisions, mitigate damage and injuries.
